The petroleum refining process takes place in several stages:
Distillation Chapter
– The first phase of the petroleum refining process is the fragmentation of crude oil in the distillation and unloading towers, which is separated into petroleum products or direct refining products. Which are in the form of gas, light distillates, middle distillates, sediments and gazoil. The bottom-up temperature gradient of the distillation tower first condenses the high-boiling point material, then the low boiling point, as it rises to the top of the tower, where the rising vapors and sediments are mixed when balanced. It should be noted that special basins are placed inside the tower at each level, so that each level has a determined boiling point, liquid distillates are collected, which have been intensified at each level in these basins .
