Natural gas components Methane is one of the most important components of natural gas after treatment (natural gas treatment). This type of gas is used for commercial, industrial and residential consumption. Raw natural gas contains a good range of different compounds:
– Gaseous hydrocarbons such as ethane and pentane. After treatment and purification of the raw gas, these compounds are collected, they are called LNG.
Acid gases such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide and certain other compounds such as methanol, thiol and ethane thiol.
– Other gases such as helium and nitrogen.
– Water, where it is present in natural gas in the form of liquid water and water vapor.
– Hydrocarbons are a natural essence.
Mercury: It is present in small proportions, either in raw form or in combination with other compounds such as chlorine.
