Diesel Engine and Gasoline : The power phase, which occurs after the fuel explosion, begins. The force resulting from the explosion forces the piston to push down the cylinder and the piston displaces the kinetic energy towards the rest of the engine. When the piston reaches the bottom, the last half, the exhaust stroke, moves the piston upward, generating the explosion on the outside of the cylinder to start the engine after the cloud stroke again.
