Rudolf Diesel invented the diesel engine in 1892

Rudolf Diesel invented the diesel engine in 1892, an internal combustion engine that converts the potential of diesel fuel into kinetic energy. The diesel engine is more efficient than the gasoline engine because of its high pressure. The engine is directly proportional to the pressure ratio and the pressure ratio in the diesel engine is between 1:14 and 1:25, compared to 1: 8 to 1:12 in the gasoline engine.

Diesel engine components The fixed parts: the external structure of the engine, through which the other parts of the engine are connected, and the moving parts are inside. Fixed parts consist of:

– The structure of the engine.

– The cylinder body.

– Cylinder head.
